Thanksgiving in Misty

Celebrating a turkey meal with my mom n dad n my babies...I have a lot to be thankful for and I acknowledge my blessings every day! My oldest son is 14 today and I'm so blessed he is my son. When I first found out I was pregnant with him I wasn't sure if I should have him because I was a single mom. His dad had left me and I already had two babies. I went to talk to my late grandmother and told her about my situation and whether I should continue this pregnancy. My late grandmother was so powerful. She told me I was only looking at the negative of being pregnant. She said what if this is the boy your dad never had. What if he is going to be the one who looks after you when you are old. I felt so good after talking to her and decided to continue with this pregnancy. And I'm so grateful I did. My son is such a blessing and such a gentle soul.
